Giclée is a high-resolution digital print made by utilizing high quality media such as Somerset watercolor paper, canvas or photographic media and archival ink. Like lithography or serigraphy, giclée is a recognized high quality fine art reproduction method. Unlike lithography or serigraphy, initial prepress costs are minimal and printing in small quantities is economically feasible.

Many consider giclée printmaking to be the absolute best technology for producing limited editions of original works of art and for printing fine photography. Giclée prints have the appearance and feel of original art. The colors are rich and saturated, appearing to be in the paper rather than on the paper. Many major museums are now reproducing their collection masterpieces as giclées.
